A B2B sales analytics and engagement network called Apollo.io revealed on Thursday that it has secured $110 million in a Series C round of financing, led by Sequoia Capital and including previous backers Tribe Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, and NewView Capital. The business has so far raised more than $150 million.
With the most recent funding round, Apollo.io hopes to expand its investment in product and technology by roughly 300 percent and expedite its product-led development.
The software assists the sales force in automating their outreach and procedures, resulting in higher productivity. Connecting with other sales platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Sendgrid, and LinkedIn, facilitates the sales process.
The network of Apollo.io contains a B2B contact database with details on over 220 million buyers.
In the last year, the company’s annual recurring revenue (ARR) has tripled. Apollo.io reported that in the three months after releasing its Series B round of financing, its paid client base had grown by more than 60%, reaching more than 15,000 users.
According to Tim Zheng, co-founder, and CEO of Apollo.io, “Apollo’s objective is to create world-class go-to-market technologies easy and available to everyone.”
